Ernest R. Villano, age 95 of Stuart, FL, passed away peacefully at Treasure Cost Hospice on October 29, 2016.

He is survived by his partner, Sheila Silverman, sweet dog, Tillie, loving children, Mark (Galina) Villano, Linda (Kevin) Blades, Maureen (David) Bialis, granddaughter, Darja (Mark) Heinz and great granddaughter, Ulianna, and former spouse, Anita Lapinski.
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Manuella Villano.He was the youngest of nine children, Andrew, Antoinette, Josephine,  Mitchell, Louis, Marguerite, Victoria, and Lawrence whom also preceded him in death.
Ernie was born in St. Paul, MN and moved with his family to Chicago, IL when he was a child. He served a short time in the U.S. Army. Ernie worked as a painter by trade until he retired, moved back to Minneapolis, MN for a while, and then finally settled in Stuart, FL. Florida was Ernie's favorite place to live. He loved the warm weather and sunshine, and played his favorite game, gin rummy whenever he got the chance. He also enjoyed and never got tired of watching reruns of some of his favorite programs such as Bonanza and Everybody Loves Raymond.
Ernie was a kind and gentle man, who was loved by all. He will be dearly missed. A memorial to celebrate his life was held privately.
