Esther Bachman, 98 of Stuart, Florida passed away March 6, 2018 at Terrace of Hobe Sound.

Born May 28, 1919 in Long Island, New York, she moved to Martin County Florida over 30 years ago, after her husband Edward passed away.

She started working as a secretary and was recognized for her potential.  Esther became one of the first draftswomen to work in the field of drafting for the aviation and aerospace industries at Northrop Grumman.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading by the pool.  Esther is remembered by her niece, Debi as always having a book in her hand and at times reading one or two books a day.

She also loved playing golf, and had recorded at Pines Lakes Golf Course, three holes in one, all on the same hole.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Edna Marie Flanagan; husband, Edward; and sisters, Pat, Mildred, Dottie, Ethel, and her brother Harold.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Irene Krumin; nieces, Debi Krumin-Mulford, and Carol Bachman-Bull, and their extended families.

Esther will be remembered as enjoying being with family and friends.
