Ethel A. Gitlin, 70, of Sand Hill Shores in Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away at her home Sunday, July 12, 2015.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she had been a resident of Fort Pierce since 1999, coming from Plainview, New York.

She was a graduate of Island Trees High School in Levittown, New York, and prior to her retirement she worked for QVC Shopping Network at their Port Saint Lucie, Florida location.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Gitlin, and his wife, Karen, of Port Saint Lucie, and Gary Gitlin, also of Port Saint Lucie; three sisters, Virginia Vignola, of Central Islip, New York, Ann Porcano, of Fort Pierce, and Rosemarie Adams, of Mastic, New York; one brother, Anthony Napolitano, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; and four grandchildren, Brianna, Cory, Troy, and Kayleigh Gitlin.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Gary Gitlin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 12 noon at the Church of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, 930 SW Tunis Avenue, Port Saint Lucie, Florida. A Celebration of Her Life will follow the Mass from 2-6:00 pm at Sandhill Shores Clubhouse, 3200 Sandhill Shores Boulevard, Fort Pierce, Florida 34982.

Interment will take place in Saint Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island, New York.
