Eunice H. Drewsen age 83 was born into eternal life on Friday, April 6 th at her home in Palm City, Florida.
She is survived by her children: Karla Drewsen, Edmond T. Drewsen, III (Debra), and her Grandchildren: Jonathan Drewsen(Kali) and Elise (Drewsen) Zielicke (Jeremiah). She was preceded in death by her husband: Edmond T. Drewsen, Jr. and her siblings: Morton Hull, Lyman Hull, and Katharine Hull.
Eunice of Winnetka, Illinois, resided for much of her adult life in Greenwich, Connecticut. She received her bachelor's degree from Vassar College (1978). Eunice was a small business owner and had her own needlework store called Thimbles of Greenwich. She was the manager of the school bus for private schools in Greenwich when her children were young. Eunice was an avid gardener and love caring for roses and daffodils. She belonged to Green Fingers Garden Club in Greenwich, Connecticut.
After moving to Florida she spent a great deal of time volunteering. She volunteer at the Martin County Council on Aging Thrift Store. She and her dog, Lochie worked in nursing homes as a therapy dog team and in the schools with Paws To Read.
Eunice is a member of Christ Church on Quaker Hill in Pawling, New York.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sandhill Cove, 1500 SW Capri Street, Palm City, on Tuesday, April 10 th at 10:30 am and in Pawling, New York at a future date.
