Evangeline "Angie" Martha Matthews. 87, of Port Saint Lucie Florida passed away November 17, 2018 at Tiffany Hall Nursing and Rehab Center in Port Saint Lucie.

Mrs.  Matthews was born May 6, 1931 in New York City, New York, she was the daughter of Waldemar and Hildegarde Bithorn. She moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida from Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey in 1973 more recently moving to Fort Pierce.

Survivors include her sons Edward Jr., Robert, and Scott Matthews all of Port Saint Lucie, FL, daughter, Karen Chite of Ocklawaha, FL, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edward Matthews, Sr. and daughter, Barbara Baird.
