Florence J. Callocchio, ("Flo") of Maspeth, NY passed away on December 30, 2021 in Stuart, FL at 85 years of age. Flo was born in Queens, NY on June 2, 1936.  She was a resident of Stuart, FL for forty years.  She was the beloved wife of Patrick, dear mother of Patricia Roe and Michael Callocchio, loving grandmother ("Nana") of Kelly Oellerich, Brian Roe, Jr., Michelle Callocchio Puleo and Dana Callocchio, and great-grandmother to Connor Oellerich, Katherine Oellerich, Brian Roe III, Eva Roe, Isabella Callocchio Puleo and Kimora Callocchio.  Florence was preceded in death by her son Patrick Callocchio, Jr. , by her parents Clara Lurz and Howard Bernsen and by her brothers Howard Bernsen, Jr. and Franklin Bernsen.  She was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Flo loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed cooking and playing cards.  She was the proud owner for many years of The Royal Patio Restaurant in Port Salerno, FL and Flo's Family Restaurant in Stuart, FL. Flo loved to help those less fortunate and would often invite those in need to her restaurant for a free meal.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, FL 34994.  Calling hours are Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Church, 1200 E. 10th Street, Stuart, FL 34996. Florence will be cremated and laid to rest at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
