Florence E. Kinnan, 86, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida went home to be with Jesus on June 6, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce, Florida.

She was born in 1928 in Lyons, Kansas to Charles and Nellie Cline. From the age of 7, she was raised in West Salem, Oregon. In 1953, she moved to Shelton, Washington, and raised her five children there. She was married to Morris Kinnan for fifty-eight years, until his passing in 2004.

Florence worked for the Shelton General Hospital (later Mason General Hospital) for twenty years, a job she adored.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Kinnan, her granddaughter, Tana McClaflin, great-granddaughter, Kirstie Marcy, and eleven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Mervin (Connie) Kinnan, of Wasilla, Alaska; three daughters, Shirley Wendt, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Susan (Les) Younglove and Evelyn Jarstad, both of Shelton, Washington: grandchildren, Tyson Kinnan and Kevin Kinnan, both of Olympia, Washington, Kendra (Jeff Hoffman) Kinnan, of California, Andy Townsend and Carter Marcy, both of Washington, Brad Marcy, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Chuck (Gerrilynn), Steven (Lori), and John (Stacy) Younglove, Lance Jarstad, Misty Cooper, Eva Hunter, Dusty Wendt, Kyle and Ronnie Jarstad, all of Washington; numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-granddaughter, Danica Cason, of Arizona.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Belcrest Memorial Park, 1295 Browning Avenue South, Salem, Oregon 97302.
