Florence Hilma (Karlson) Taylor, 76, of Stuart, Florida passed away with family by her side on Sunday, May 10, 2020.

Florence was born August 14, 1943 in Glen Cove, New York, but has been a resident of Stuart for 65 years, coming here with her parents as an 11-year old girl.

She currently is a member of Coastal Life Church in Palm City, but previously enjoyed serving God at Tropical Farms Baptist Church and Salerno Road Baptist Church where she loved teaching children about the God she loved.

Florence was pre-deceased by her husband of 30 years, John Taylor, who passed away September, 2019.  She was also pre-deceased her parents, David and Thelma Karlson and two brothers, David Karlson, Jr. and Richard Karlson.

Florence leaves behind her son, Johnny Gordon (Bonnie) and daughter, Debby Williams.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lisa Becker (Ben), Doug Williams, Johnny Gordon, Jr. and Christina O'Connor, along with eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
