Frances E. Pokorny, 95, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on January 13, 2021 at her home.

Born in Armour, SD, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for several years.

Prior to retiring she had been a bookkeeper.

She was a longtime member of the Warren Point Presbyterian Church of Fair Lawn, NJ and served as a deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Port St. Lucie, FL.  She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 281, Fair Lawn, NJ.  She also was a member of the VIP Club.

Survivors include her children; son, Richard B. Pokorny of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and daughters, Gale Atta and her husband Gary and Lora Katakozinos and her husband Bill all of Charlotte, NC; 7 grandchildren, Maureen Atta, Gary Atta, Nicole Forster, Richard H. Pokorny, Corielle, Jake and Jesse Katakozinos; great grandchildren, Emma Gale Wallace, Gavin Atta and Amberlyn Pokorny.  She was preceded in death by her husband, of 44 years, Richard G. Pokorny and 9 siblings.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home
