Francis A. "Frank" Minicozzi, Jr., 74, of Stuart, Florida, passed away, Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Born in Jessup, Pennsylvania, he had been a resident of Stuart for sixteen years, coming from Rome, New York.

He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the United States Department of Defense, working out of the Westin, Florida Office for thirty-seven years.

He was a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary in Fort Lauderdale, and also the VFW Post in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Survivors include his beloved wife of fifty years, Merrylen J. Minicozzi of Stuart; three sons, David F. Minicozzi and his wife, Michelle, of Rome, New York, Mark C. Minicozzi and his wife, Karin of Rome, and Joseph Minicozzi of Asheville, North Carolina; one brother, Michael J. Minicozzi of Rome; and seven grandchildren, Kayleigh, Madelyn, Mark, Jr., Benjamin, Abigail, Lilyan, and Ellyza.

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
