Frank Willard Ainslie Sr, 90, of Port Saint Lucie, FL, passed away on Friday, January 12 ^th , 2018.  Frank was born to Hatherly Earl Ainslie and Marion Joyce, in Wayland MA on February 5, 1927.  He grew up and lived on the South Shore for most of his life.  A WWII Veteran, he joined the Navy in 1944.  He continued to serve in the Coast Guard and Sea Bees for 10 years.  He was very proud of his service to his country.  During the interim of his service he married Shirley Mae Lloyd and had a family of 12 children.  He was predeceased by Shirley in 1974.

Frank worked for A.W. Lovell in Duxbury MA for many years until retiring.  He had many hobbies and loved collecting bottles and coins.  He was a lifetime member of the Marshfield VFW Post.  In his younger years he enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and spending time with family and friends.  After retiring he lived in Manchester NH, Beckley WV, and for the last three years, he lived in Port Saint Lucie FL.

Frank was predeceased by 3 of his daughters; Merrylee Wilkinson, Joanne Elizabeth Melvoen, and Janice Ainslie.  He is survived by; Frank W. Ainslie Jr and his wife Reneai of West Bridgewater MA.,  Hatherly (Buzz) Earl Ainslie of Poultney VT., Rosalie Plunkett and her husband Jack of Lancaster, NH., Marsha Jean Ainslie and her husband Carl Litchfield of Port Saint Lucie, FL., Edward Allen Ainslie and his wife, Bonnie, of Belchertown MA., Ruth Wilder of Manchester NH, Joseph Robert Ainslie and his wife Marilyn of Goffstown NH, Eric (Zeke) Stephen Ainslie also of Manchester NH, and Margaret (Peggy)  Ainslie of Port Saint Lucie, FL.  At the time of his passing, Frank had 22 Grandchildren and 29 Great-Grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on a date to be announced.
