REINHOLD, Frederick, Jr.

Frederick John Reinhold, Jr., age 92 of Stuart, FL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Harper House in Stuart. Fred was born November 11, 1920 in Northport, NY, the son of the late Frederick Sr. and Lillian (Sweet) Reinhold. Fred served his country in the United States Army during WWII, being honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He was an avid athlete the majority of his life with a passion for lacrosse, racquetball and swimming, serving as life guard for many years. After owning his own moving company in NY, he and his wife, Rita retired to Stuart, FL in 1982. Fred is survived by an adopted son, Rick Reinhold; step-brother, Rolf Ericson of Southern Pines, NC; caregivers and devoted friends, Sharyl Pratt of Hobe Sound, FL and Theresa Caputo of Stuart, Fl. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Rita (Flannigan) Reinhold in 2009 and a daughter, Margaret "Mickey". Per his wishes cremation has taken place and no public services are scheduled at this time. Fred and Rita will be buried next to their daughter at the St. Philip Neri Cemetery in Northpoint, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice. Arrangements are by the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Stuart, Fl.
