Fredrick Earl Breitwieser, Sr., 80, of Stuart, Florida passed away, Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.
Born in Spirit Lake, Iowa, he had been a resident of Stuart, since 2013, coming from Billerica, Massachusetts and had been a "snowbird" since 2007.
A Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a Union Carpenter working for the Massachusetts State Carpenter's Local #26 in Wilmington, Massachusetts, prior to his retirement.
Fred was also a Life Member of the VFW Post #10132 in Hobe Sound, Florida, the American Legion Post #400 in Orlando, and member of the Elks Lodge #2071 in Billerica.
He was also an avid fisherman, enjoying all the catch Florida has to offer.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Connie Breitwieser of Stuart; one son, Fredrick Breitwieser, Jr. of Stuart; three daughters, Judi Marie Breitwieser of Lowell, Massachusetts, Lisa Camacho of Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, and Heidi Breitwieser of Billerica; one brother, Gary Breitwieser of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota; one sister, Dorothy Fuecker also of Sauk Rapids; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jillian, Stefana, Peter, Scott, Heather, Emma, and Kyle; and six great-grandchildren, Hailey, Kailyb, Antonio, Ava, Joyla, and Connor.
Services and Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Massachusetts.
