Gary Ronald Stubbs, 77, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on April 18, 2019 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart.

Born in Fowler, Colorado he had been a resident of Stuart for 4 years as a permanent resident and 10 prior to that as a winter resident coming from Shawnee, Kansas.

Prior to retiring he was in parts inventory control with General Motors and was member of UAW Local 31.  He had also worked for Enterprise Car Leasing for 13 years after retiring from GM. He had been a member of the Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Leawood, Kansas.  He delivered meals for Meals on Wheels of Martin County weekly for the past 4 years.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Jane Stubbs of Stuart; his sons, Ron Stubbs and his wife Valentina of Coral Gables and Bryan Stubbs and his wife Joy of Oberlin, OH; his granddaughter, Ruby Harrison Stubbs and his brother, Edwin Stubbs.  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Wilma Swedhin, Leona Stafford and Sally Saunders.
