Gary Alan Wood of Palm City, passed away on Sunday February 8, 2015. He was born on December 16, 1940 in Salem, Ohio to Robert J. Wood and Margaret H. Wood (Kopscay). He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn M. Wood (nee Meister), his son, Douglas I. Wood and his wife January Layman- Wood, and his daughter, Margaret E. (Peggy) Wood and her husband, Michael G. Abruzzo. He also leaves three grandchildren, whom he adored, Sadie and Nora Wood, and Julia Wood-Abruzzo.
A service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 623 Southeast Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL at 11:30 am on Thursday, February 12, 2015. Donations to Treasure Coast Hospice in Gary's name are welcome. Condolences may be offered at www.treasurecoastseawinds.com
