George Cordero, 78, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic Martin Health System South in Stuart.

Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, he had been a resident of the Bronx, New York for 40 years, until moving to Florida.

Survivors include his son, George Cordero, Jr.; and two daughters, Madeline, and Rose Cordero.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Eladio, and Luis Cordero.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 2-5:00 pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart.

Contributions as a memorial may be made to the local Chapter of the American Cancer Society or to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
