George G. "Duke" Evans, 81, of Port St. Lucie, passed away on October 14, 2019 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Denver, Colorado he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 22 years coming from Phoenix, Arizona.

Before retiring he was a business consultant, most recently he taught at IRSC.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force attaining the rank of Lieutenant.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years Eddie Evans; his daughter Georgia Helene and her husband Maxx Quick of Port St. Lucie; his son Geoff Evans and his wife Claire Lamos of Albuquerque, New Mexico and his grandchildren, Nicolette Helene and Yukon Helene.
