George W. Price, Sr., 85, of Palm City, Florida, died Friday, May 16, 2014 at his son's home in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Born in Miami, Florida, he had been a Palm City resident of 19 years.
George honorably served his country in the United States Army, and was stationed in Germany for two years.
Survivors include his children, George W. Price, Jr., and his wife, Linda, of Lakeland, Florida, Robert Anthony Price, and his wife, Renee, of Stuart, and Charlotte Colacino, and her husband, Frank, of Palm City; two sisters, Mary Bennion, and her husband, Bill, of Stuart, and Ruth Buswell, and her husband, Mac, of McAlpin, Florida; five grandchildren, Ashley Mallios, of Palm City, Chrissy Armstrong, Brittany Rosario, Chelsey Price, and Shannon Graham, all of Lakeland; eight great-grandchildren; and his former wife, Daisy Anderson, of Lakeland.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck Price.
A Service to Celebrate his Life will be Saturday, May 24, 2014, at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida 34994. Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag will follow on the Funeral Home's veranda.
