Celebrating a Life that Touched Us All

Glenn E. Mulcahy, 79, of Jensen Beach, Florida, and formerly of Batavia, New York, lived his life with vigor and optimism. His life touched all those who knew him. On December 9, 2017, Glenn passed away surrounded by his loving wife and family. Glenn fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.

Glenn graduated with a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Canisus College, Buffalo NY and taught math for several years in Pavilion, New York. He was a District Representative for Eaton Yale & Town which moved him and his family to Walnut Creek, California for a few years. Glenn and his family then moved back to Western New York where he worked with his brother in real estate and eventually opened his own Century 21 real estate business. He was a Genesee County Legislator, and the Vice President of the Board of Realtors of Western New York. Glenn was also actively involved with the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in East Bethany, New York. He and his wife, Trenna, retired to the Treasure Coast 33 years ago.

The greatest joy in life for Glenn was his family. Whether it was playing softball on Sunday afternoons, sailing his Hobie Cat, entertaining, making his homemade pizza for friends and family, or cheering on his grandchildren, Glenn enjoyed spending time with those he loved.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 61 years (his childhood sweetheart), Trenna (nee Platten), his children Alan Mulcahy (Rebecca) of Jupiter, Florida, Colette Mulcahy Staak of Atlanta, Georgia, Maureen Mulcahy Lowe (Bob) of Geneseo, New York, and Glenn Mulcahy Jr (Sandy) of Vero Beach, Florida, brother Lauren Mulcahy (Sandra) of Jensen Beach, Florida, sister-in-law Lena Mulcahy of Stuart, Florida, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
