Grace Rose Alessi, 96, of Jensen Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 1, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Grace was born on July 1, 1919 in New York City.

Grace is survived by her son, Ernest Alessi; her four granddaughters, Lori Jazarevic, Graceann Doherty, Joy Sacco, Juliet Calvin; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Ernest J. Alessi and her sons, Robert Alessi, Carl Alessi and Frederick Alessi.

Grace raised her family in Ridgefield, New Jersey, before moving to Ocean Towers in Jensen Beach, Florida in 1981. Grace was loved by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions as a memorial may be made to theTreasure Coast Hospice, 500 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34981, in memory of Grace Alessi.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart, Florida.
