Guy Martin "Marty" Baldwin, Jr., 66, of Palm City, Florida, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida.
Born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, he was resident of Palm City for thirty years, coming from Salem, Illinois.
He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Only in early February, he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The cancer was particularly aggressive and claimed his life quickly.
Survivors include his friend and companion, Regina Karner and step-children, Giesella (Gisa) Karner-Brown, Peter Karner-Brown and Luke Karner-Brown, all of Palm City; two brothers, Carson L. Baldwin, of Gainesville, Florida, and Charles E. Baldwin, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; and several nieces, and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of his Life at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4th, at his home in Palm City at 1352 SW Evergreen Lane. The Celebration of Life is being hosted by his surviving companion of 16 years, Regina C Karner, and his Step-Children, Giesella (Gisa), Peter, and Luke.
