Harold Francis Martek, Jr., "Joe", the fun-loving "salty dog" passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 77.  Joe's family and friends will miss his colorful stories, sense of humor and quick wit.  Driven by spontaneity and adventure, he inspired so many.  There was no such thing as a stranger in Joe's life, always another opportunity for a new friend.  Grateful to have him in our lives, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  As his mother, Mary, used to say, "Oh, the stories we could tell!"

Joe is survived by his girlfriend Denise Thomas, and his immediate family consisting of his brother Eric Martek, four adult children - Cheri O'Neil, Michael Martek, Cynthia Martek, Kristine Pickard and six grandchildren – Christian, Mikayla, Ryan, Anya, Nicole, and Sydney.

Joe, may you enjoy your new life in God's Kingdom and may the salty wind always be at your back along with a daily full barrel of Scotch.
