IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harold C.
Pedersen
February 1, 1943 – November 6, 2023
Harold C. Pedersen, 80, of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away on Nov. 6, 2023 in Stuart, FL
Harold was born on February 1, 1943, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Carl Martin and Harriet America Hays Pedersen. Harold was extremely proud of his Danish heritage since his grandparents originated from Denmark. His father was a farmer while his mother was a homemaker. He attended Sunflower School and graduated from Morrill High in Morrill, Nebraska. He excelled at sports (football and basketball) and definitely did not like sitting on the bench, which he rarely ever did. He then went to Chadron State and received his teacher certificate. He also graduated from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma. He taught grades K-8 in one room schoolhouses in the Sandhills of Nebraska. He taught in Bible schools and was a substitute teacher in the public schools. His grandchildren "LOVED" when they went to class and he was the substitute. He was a missionary to the American Indians in Soldier Creek, SD and Salamanca, NY. He was a minister in several churches and states.
He is survived by his wife Cassandra Sue "Smith" Pedersen who was his object of affection for over 58 years. Children: Daniel (Phyllis), Donna (Jamie) Blair, Paul (Jennifer), and Michelle (Steve) Acre. Thirteen grandchildren: Laura, Heidi, Westin, Chris, Carmen, Easton, Hallie, Patrick, Zack, Brock, Miranda, Carlie, and Luke.
Seven great grandchildren: Olivia, Braylee, Keegan, Dallas, Nolan, Ananiya, and Koen.
Two brothers Roy (Helen) and Lee Pedersen.
He was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, Amber Sue, his parents, his brothers Charles, Joe, Bob, and his sister Jean.
In addition to his love for God, his family meant the world to him. He is now with his Lord and Savior who he spent his life living for.
Services will be on Monday, Nov, 13, 2023 at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home in Stuart. He will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City, FL.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.
