Hazel Irene Germain Hannaford of Martin County, Florida lost her battle against lung cancer on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the young age of 52. Hazel was born in Glens Falls, New York on November 18, 1965.

Hazel moved to Florida at the age of 17 and attended Martin County High School. She attended Indian River State College and worked prominently within the legal field in Martin County with lawyers such as Noel Bobko, Lisa Batts, Tim Snotty, Joe Gufford, and others.

Hazel is survived by her mother Gail Germain, her sister Gail Buzz, her brothers William and Howard Germain, and her daughter Stephanie Hannaford.

Hazel will always be remembered for her strong spirit and tenacity.

Hazel's Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Jensen Beach Causeway under pavilion number 6 beginning at 1:00 PM.
