Obituary

Heather was born in Lindsay, California on March 27, 1985, and passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home in Jensen Beach, Florida, with family by her side on Sunday, October 9, 2016. She was 31 years old.

Heather was raised in Terra Bella, California, attended Terra Bella Elementary School and Carl Smith Middle School, and graduated from Porterville High School.
She then went on and received her BA from the University of Phoenix.

As a child, Heather loved camping in the mountains with her dad, roaming and exploring her great-grandparent's ranch in Ducor, building sand castles at the beach with her mom, and baking cookies with Grandma Brumley.

Along with her sister, she had a handful of cousins she grew up with. Heather was a member of Ducor 4-H and loved showing her lambs. She loved shopping, fashion and especially her high heels.

She met the love of her life, Roy, and they traveled to exotic destinations together.
Their adventures moved them to Florida. When their son Luke was born, he became her pride and joy. She loved playing and reading to Luke. On quiet days you would find the two curled up together watching home videos. She loved spending time with her nieces and having girl time with her closest friends.

Heather is survived by her loving husband, Roy; son, Luke; her parents, Bonnie (Vinnie) Gibson and Bruce (Darcy) Stroud; sister, Debbie (Quentin) True; grandmother, Jean Stroud; step-sister, step-brothers, nieces, nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 36090 Road #220, Woodlake, California 93286 for family and friends in California. Another Celebration of Life will take place for her friends in Florida on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 5:00 pm at their home in Jensen Beach.
