Helen Elizabeth Arter, 92, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Saint Lucie Medical Center in Port Saint Lucie.

Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, she had been a Florida resident for more then twenty years, coming from Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Robert Arter, who passed away in 2011, her son Charles Anthony Arter, and her grandson, Dave Hynes.

Survivors include four daughters, Linda A. Bishop and her husband, John of Manahawkin, New Jersey, Patricia A, Arter of Cocoa, Florida, Concetta M. Arter of Port Saint Lucie, and Carol S. Bell of Cocoa; two sons, Robert G. Arter of South Amboy, New Jersey, and John T. Arter of Jackson, New Jersey; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services and Interment will be at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart, Florida.
