Helena R. Summa, age 107, devoted wife of the late William V. Summa, and loving mother of Billy Summa of Waterbury, Connecticut; Joyce Szcoczarz of Jensen Beach, Florida; and Jane Summa Raffone of Palm City Florida, passed peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2020, at the Solaris Healthcare Parkway in Stuart, Florida.  She is survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Helena was born in Waterbury Connecticut on September 22, 1913, where she proudly attended Post College and graduated with honors from their business department.  She went on to work as a successful bookkeeper for many local establishments until she relocated to Florida in 1995 to be with her daughters.

Helena was an avid bridge player and joined her bridge friends weekly, playing at the local clubhouse. Helena also enjoyed casino trips, where she cheered for those three bars to snap into place….another winner!!  Also, she was the queen of bingo while in residence at Solaris.

She left a lasting impression with everyone she met.  She had a joke to make you smile, but her personal, heartfelt concern for everyone's welfare was unwavering.

We believe Helena has joined the Lord's legend of angels to continue her good works and watch over all of us. May God's grace be upon you forever Helena.
