Herbert "Pete" Bolk, Jr., 86, of Stuart, Florida passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Martin Medical Center in Stuart.

Born in Queens Village, New York, he lived in Merrick and Northport, New York, before retiring to Stuart.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy of over 65 years; and their children, Carol Stegmaier, Donna Gulino, Debra (Edward) Sganga, and Gary (Christine) Bolk; his grandchildren, Kristen Gulino, Ryan and Kimberly Bolk, Edward, Everett, and Emily Sganga, and Keith (Laura) Stegmaier; and his great-granddaughter, Lyra Stegmaier.  He is also survived by his sister, Mary C. Stephens; his niece, Mary Ann Stephens; and his nephew, Joseph Martin Stephens.

Prior to his retirement, Herb was an officer of Chemical Bank in New York, and was President of the Commack Lions Club, Huntington Kiwanis, Northport Rotary, and the Suffolk County Football Officials Association, where he was a Lifetime Honorary Member.  He was also a Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Northport in New York.

A Memorial Service at the First Presbyterian Church of Stuart, 1715 NW Pine Lake Drive, Stuart, Florida will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
