Hilary Marie Garrett Aquino, 44, of Stuart, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 11, 2022 - after a long struggle with addiction and loss.
Hilary was born on October 6, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama with her womb-mate, Vanessa Hope Garrett, who preceded her in death in 2017. She was born to David Garrett, deceased, and Wendyne McGowen Limber. She was a graduate of South Fork High School and Florida Atlantic University with a BS in Social Work.
Hilary had a profound love for her children, enduring much pain for the loss of them in her life. She had a passion for shopping and beauty, loved her friends and family deeply no matter what. Her greatest joy this year was the birth of her first grandchild, Lincoln Smith.
Hilary did her personal best to recover from her addictions, yet they finally took her away in the end.
Hilary was proceeded in death by her father, David Garrett (Magda) and is survived by her brother, Elijah Hagler (Shannon), sister Lesley Kinney (Kevin); mother, Wendyne Limber and second father, James Limber; her daughters - Jasmine Smith (James), Isabella Limber and her son, Jordon Aquino; grandchildren, Lincoln Smith and Walker Smith; her niece, Maya Hagler; and nephew, Alex Kinney; Aunts Petrina McGowen Hanken (Charlie),Virginia Maddox (Michael), Pam Garrett (deceased); Uncle Richard Garrett (Mary); cousins - Robert Griggs, William Griggs, Jonathan Griggs, Megan Hankin, Daniel Garrett, Mary Francis Garrett and Ryan Garrett.
There will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony for Hilary's friends and family at Soulville Center, 664 SE Monterey Road - Bruner Plaza, in Stuart, Florida at 4 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
