Horace "Mac" J. McCambridge, 89, of Jensen Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 8, 2018.

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, he had been a resident of Florida since 1985, coming from his birthplace.

He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict.

Prior to his retirement, he was a Real Estate Entrepreneur owning many rental properties. Mac also owned McCambridge Mobile Home Park and the H. McCambridge Oil Company, both in Pawtucket. He was a member of the Le Foyer, a French Canadian Club in Pawtucket.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Evelyn M. McCambridge of Jensen Beach; one son, Carl T. McCambridge (Elisabeth Lorenz) of Dadeville, Alabama; two daughters, Carol A. McGuire (Robert Goldsmith) of Jensen Beach and Carlene M. McCambridge of Tampa, Florida; seven grandchildren, April, Shane, Kara, Cher Lee, Carla, Matthew, and Andy; and eleven great-grandchildren, Trace, Dylan, Vaughn, Ryan, Blake, Mackenzie, Gavin, Jensen, Brady, Nathaniel, and Julian.

Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by the United States Army Military Honor Guard will take place on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, with a Celebration of Life Service  immediately following Honors.
