Howard F. Fennell, 75, of Palm City, Florida, died Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his home in Palm City, Florida.
Born February 8, 1939 in Rentz, Georgia, he had been a Palm City resident for 37 years.
Howard honorably served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado for 2 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca S. Fennell, of Palm City; children, Ben Fennell and his wife Katie, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Reggie Fennell, of Port Saint Lucie, Howard (Butch) Fennell II and his wife Sandra, of Thomaston, Georgia, step-daughter Veronica Scarpati, of Orlando, Florida; one brother Duncan (Junior) Fennell of Georgia; two sisters, Mary Harrell, of Apopka, Florida, and Edna Terrier, of Thomaston; six grandchildren, Brandon Scarpati, of Fort Pierce, Florida, Wyatt, Weston and Wade Fennell, all of Port Saint Lucie, and two granddaughters, of Thomaston.
Howard was preceded in death by his brothers Jack, Hubert, and Loyce Fennell, and sister Evie.
A Service to Celebrate his Life will be Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Salerno Southern Methodist Church, 4889 SE Ebbtide Ave, Port Salerno, Florida, where the Family will receive friends after 9:30am. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be at the convenience of the family at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart.
