Howard Stacey Jr passed away peacefully at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart Florida  Wednesday December 7 2022.
Born July 1st 1937. He was raised on the ROSS Dairy in Belmont Mass. A former resident of North Reading Mass.Howie served in the Navy reserves. He was a member of the Carpenters Union.
Howie retired a proud Lieutenant of the Everett Police department after thirty two years as of service.Howard enjoyed traveling, spending vacations and time off at the cottage in Milton NH. Howie had a passion for stock car racing, the Bruins, 50s music, roller skating and in later years playing golf. He was an incredibly hard worker and would take on any project large or small.
Howard was predeceased by his parents Florence and Howard Stacey Sr. His sisters Lois Hedberg ,Edna Light and her Husband Allen. His Daughter Carol Stacey. A son in law Kevin Doyle. He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years Janice Stacey of Stuart Fla. His daughters Barbara Doyle of Portsmouth NH and Sharon Vandell of Fort Pierce Fla. A Son David Stacey and daughter in law Peggy Stacey of Haverhill, ma. He is survived by his Grand children Katherine Morgenstern and her partner Jeremy Levaille. Amanda Morgenstern. Christian Vandell. Kevin and Allison Stacey. Great Grandsons Oliver Morgenstern and Nash Levaille as well as several nieces and cousins.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to RidetoEndAlz.org charity in care of rider David Stacey which benefits research and finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
