Howard M. Smith, 57, of Stuart, Florida, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Stuart and grew up on the St. Lucie River. Howard loved to fish. He worked in commercial fishing and in marine construction.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Mary Louise Smith, and by his brother, Tommy Smith.
Survivors include his brother, Paul A. Smith, and his three sisters, Carol Ann Snyder, Amy S. Busteed and Elsie Jean Stewart, all of Stuart. Also surviving him is his companion, Suzette Seldon, of Stuart.
