Howard Stasen died Thursday, November 22, 2018 after a long illness.

He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and an avid Badgers, Packers fan.  He never missed watching a Big Ten game of which Wisconsin was a part.

He served in the Navy aboard the USS WASP in WWII and later recalled for Korea where he was a part of Task Force 77.

Howard was a media broker of broadcast properties with Blackburn and Company, then later on his own.

After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.  Reading was a favorite pastime, military history in particular.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah and children, Sarah Schumacher (Don), Eric (Maureen); step-children, John, David (Carolyn) and Martha Wyatt Ervsman (Tim); fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A Celebration of his life will be held later this summer in Glenview, IL.
