Ingeborg Helga Clark (nee Beecker), age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at her home in Port St. Lucie, Florida surrounded by her family.

Inge is survived by her beloved husband, best friend and "Rock", Stuart Clark; her four daughters, Jackie Thompson (Bill), Jane Gerlica (Eugene), Julie White and Joanne Loesch; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Thompson (Corrie Hargrave), Ashley Jones (David), Ryan and Steven Pantelakis, Erin and Jeffrey Gerlica, Kyle and Cameron Loesch; 4 great-grandchildren, Jack and Laura Hargrave and Jake and Chelsea Jones.

Inge, born on April 15, 1937 in Tanzania (East Africa), was one of four children born to Wilhelm Beecker and Waltraut Beecker (nee Beilharz) who later immigrated to Baden Baden, Germany where she was raised until the age of 14.   Her parents immigrated from Germany to Sarnia, Ontario, Canada in 1951 where they raised Inge and her surviving siblings, Klaus Beecker, Christa Henderson and Dorothy Comfort (Robert). Inge met Stuart while working at Central Mutual Insurance company in Toronto, Ontario and they married in 1958.  Inge and Stuart eventually immigrated to South Florida in 1973 and resided in Pompano Beach, Boca Raton and then finally Port St. Lucie, where she has lived for the past 12 years.

Inge was the consummate fashionista and homemaker and loved to knit, crochet and sew clothes in her younger years.  Baking, cooking, travelling, decorating her home, entertaining and spending lots of time with her family and friends was always a priority.  In later years, Inge's garden was her most treasured past-time, next to her grandchildren - the apples of her eye.  Her smile was larger than life and her beautiful face lit up when they came into the room.  She will always be remembered for her giving nature during times of need which was reflected by her gentle, kind and compassionate soul.  Children were naturally drawn to her and this gift eventually lead her to working in a pre-school for several years.  Miss Inge was always the favorite and most loved by the students.

She loved unconditionally, and we will forever miss her laughter, smiles, hugs, kisses and unwavering devotion to her family.   She is now a guardian angel and we are grateful knowing she is watching over us, and all of the children, from above.
