Irma Jacobsson Tolbert of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 10 ^th , 2021 surrounded by loved ones.

Irma was born on June 13, 1925 in Hoboken, New Jersey. She lived in New Jersey, commuted to her job in New York City until she married Leland Tolbert and moved to Miami in the late 1950's.

She became a homemaker, committing her life to raising her children. She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting and crocheting. She then became involved in her grandchildren's lives. She always had the need to reach out to someone in need. Irma remained very active and self-sufficient until the last few weeks of her life.

Irma is survived by daughter Kathy, son Leland, and four grandchildren: Jonathan, Brandon, Logan and Kaylie as well as two great granddaughters – Lorna and Lily.

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
