Isabelle Gagnon, age 92 of Stuart, FL passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House in Stuart, FL. Isabelle was born September 19, 1920 in South Amboy, NJ, daughter of the late Horace and Lauretta Kiple. She has lived in Stuart for 35 years, moving here from Long Island, NY. Isabelle was an active member of the Treasure Coast Unitarian Universalist Church where she served on numerous committees and contributed to its development. Surviving are her daughter, Janet G. Rainier of Northampton, MA; her son, Dennis P. (Ginny) Gagnon of Santa Rosa Beach, FL. She was also the loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a giving friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent O. Gagnon; her 4 sisters, 1 brother and her daughter, Eleanor Gagnon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Unitarian Universalist Church (21 SE Central Parkway; Stuart, FL 34994) or Treasure Coast Hospice (1201 SE Indian St; Stuart, FL 34997). Per her wishes, cremation will take place and no public services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are by the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Stuart, FL.
