Jack M. Braddock, 87, of Stuart passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at his home with family at his side.
Born on January 13, 1929 in Miami, FL, he was the son of Felix A. and Sara Ellen Braddock. He completed high school; joined the U. S. Army in January 1951; served in Korea and was discharged in October 1952.
After the service, Jack settled in Belle Glade with his family and began working in construction with his father and brother. Later relocating to West Palm Beach, he began his own construction business. In Stuart he developed Contractors Showcase. He retired in 1994.
Jack was a member of North Stuart Baptist Church.
He loved his family dearly and was passionate about fishing. He would fish the river in the morning and the ocean in the afternoon. Jack knew the river well and his success at fishing proved it. He would teach children how to fish and even catch snook on a cane pole. While in Miami Jack won numerous awards and medals in fly casting.
Jack's survivors include his beloved wife of 65 years, Emily M. Braddock; loving children, Emily Braddock, Jeff Braddock and Lou Allingham (Joel Richard Allingham); cherished grandchildren, Joel Robert Allingham, Sarah Ann Braddock and Maryann Braddock; sweet great granddaughters, Lilly Hughes and Sarina Braddock.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his brother, Robert H. Braddock.

Committal Service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, May 13, 2016 at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart.
