James Francis Dorn, 81, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Inwood, New York on June 2, 1938,  he was the son of the late John and Margaret  (nee Daly) Dorn.

James was preceded in death by his daughter, Jodi Dorn, his brother, John Dorn, and his sister, Rita Ferraro

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Carol (nee Gelato) Dorn; his daughters, Debbie Dorn, Kathy Perlman and her husband, Mark, and Jamie Gessner and her husband, Bill; his grandchildren, Rachel Marrero and her husband, Sean, Billy Gessner and his wife, Shari, Dylan Perlman, and Jonathan Perlman; his great-grandchildren, Jemma and Trista Gessner, and Savannah Marrero. Also survived by his brother, Robert Dorn; and many nieces and nephews.

James loved his family and friends and enjoyed living in the Savanna Club, playing golf and horse shoes.

A Visitation and Reception will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 1 – 3:30pm at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida where a Prayer Service will begin at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
