James D. Fetzer, 49, of Palm City, Florida, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at his home.

Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, he had moved recently to Palm City, coming from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Jim earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

He was employed by Wells Fargo Bank, as a Computer Analyst, until his illness forced him to retire, and was a member of the Palm City Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Stephanie A. Fetzer, of Palm City; his daughter, Jacqueline Estel Fetzer of Central, South Carolina; his son, Douglas Paul Fetzer, of Moscow, Russia; his father, Frederick Fetzer, and his wife, Pat of Allentown; his mother, Barbara McElroy, and her husband, Baron, of Vero Beach, Florida; his brother, Frederick Fetzer, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; and his sister, Laurie Morris, of Celebration, Florida.
