James L. "Jimmy" Nyberg, 55, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at the Saint Lucie Medical Center in Port Saint Lucie.

Born in Butler, Pennsylvania, he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for four years, coming from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Jimmy served his country proudly in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army.

Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, Department of Human Services, serving as a Supervisor in their Division of Child Protective Service.

Survivors include his sister, Sharon A. Evans, and brother-in-law, Russell Marx, both of Port Saint Lucie, and one brother, Donald Nyberg, of Pittsburgh.

Services and Interment will be private ath the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory of Stuart, Florida.
