James P Johnston Sr.: 1/12/1936 to 5/17/2016

Jim passed peacefully with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his brother James Moore (Jean) and infant sons James Joseph and David Michael. He is survived by his wife Marie (Chalmers), son Timothy, son James Jr. (Alma), grandson James III, brother Philip Johnston (Suzanne), sister Gail Samis (James).

Jim was born in Philadelphia's Nicetown section. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He worked in the trucking industry for 40+ years. He relocated to Stuart, FL with Armellini Express Lines, in 1977. He retired from the General Service Administration in 2000.

Friends are invited for a memorial service on Friday June 3rd. The service will be held at the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, located at 11630 Caroline Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154

3:30 - 4:00 - Prayer Service and Military Honor Guard
4:00 - ??? - Jim wanted "Traditional" Irish wake, so bring your drinking shoes.
