James M Kearney Jr, 70 went to be with Jesus surrounded by his family on January 24, 2020 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House, Stuart, Florida.
He was born October 15, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA. He was raised by wonderful parents James and Victoria. He graduated from Washington High School and bravely enlisted in the US Air Force honorably serving in Vietnam. He proudly served as a crew chief and later as a Flight Engineer while in the Reserves.
He was a good and loving father who took his family traveling every chance possible. He moved to Florida in 1980 to begin a career at Eastern Airlines making it possible to travel all over the World. He was a runner and participated in the World Airline Road Races when possible. The family traveled to Australia, London, Ireland, Hawaii, Costa Rica, and the Bahamas to name a few. He loved Florida life and became an avid boater and fisherman. He took the time to coach softball and soccer with the girls. At a young age he began drawing and painting and became a very talented artist.
Raised Catholic, he later became a born again Christian and served as an elder at Church. He shared a love of Jesus and set an example for his five Grandchildren JJ, Patrick, Skylar, Michael and Shane.
