James A. Taylor, age 72 of Stuart, FL died at home on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Jim was born October 19, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late James and Elizabeth (Beattie) Taylor. Jim enjoyed skiing all over the world and was an avid boater with a true love for sailing. His happiest and healthiest years were spent living on their boat in Marathon, FL, where they moved to 5 years ago from New Jersey. They eventually settled full time in Stuart, FL 2 years ago. On March 11, 1961 in Laurel Springs, NJ, Jim was united in marriage to his loving wife, Loretta (Nickerson) Taylor, who survives. Also surviving are his son, Keith (Susan) Taylor of Washington Twp., NJ and his daughter, Cindy (George) Coroneos of Washington Twp., NJ; grandchildren, Kevin & Taylor Coroneos and Lexie & Katie Taylor; his sister, Ginny DeRogatis. Cremation will take place and family will receive friends on Monday, July 8 from 6-7 p.m. at the Grenloch Presbyterian Church (Lake and Eastview Aves; Grenloch, NJ 08032) where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center (14200 U.S. Highway 1; Juno Beach, FL 33408.
