James "Jim"Warren  Betterley, Jr., 56 of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away January 18, 2018 at Lawnwood Medical Center in Fort Pierce.

He was born in Toms River, New Jersey and was a former resident of Manchester Township.  Jim was a heavy equipment operator for Sambol Construction and R & K contractors after moving to Florida in 1992.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Betterley, Sr. and mother, Earlene (Smith) Betterley.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Temple (Evans); three sons, James III, Evan and Ryan; his beloved and faithful companion, Sophie of Port St. Lucie; and brother, Keith of Melbourne, Florida.
