Janet Schalk, 68, of River Park in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2016 at the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center under the care of the Hospice of Palm Beach County.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, she had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie since 2001, coming from Akron, New York.

Prior to her retirement she was an Executive Chef and owner/operator of a Catering Business in New York.

Janet was a member of the Moose Lodge in Palm Beach Gardens.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-three years, Robert C. Schalk of Port Saint Lucie; one son Terry Webster of Palm Beach Gardens; one daughter, Molly Germany of Woodstock, Georgia; one brother, Karl Koenig of West Virginia; and two grandchildren.

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home of Stuart.
