On April 13, 2018, at the age of 77, Jean Loretta Kelly Marguin passed away, with her four children and twin sister at her side.

Jean is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ron and Roseann Marguin, her daughter and son-in-law JoAnne and David Maiorana, her daughter and son-in-law Robin and Dean Daley, her son and daughter-in-law Rick and Sonja Marguin. Jean's grandchildren, Jeffrey Marguin, Rachel Holubec, Taylor Rodgerson, Emma Maiorana, Elizabeth Maiorana, Claudia Marguin, John Maiorana, Amelia Marguin, Sophia Marguin and her great-grandchildren Hunter Holubec, Haley Holubec and John Rodgerson were the light of her life. Jean is also survived by her sister Barbara Grispin, twin sister Joan Smith and countless loved ones including nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband John Marguin, her mother Ann McNamara and her father George Kelly.

Jean was born on March 27, 1941, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Yonkers, New York. She shared her entrance into this world with her twin sister Joan, who remembers Jean putting her foot on her head so she would not get out. But she did, 31 minutes later.

Jean graduated from Greenville Central High School, in Greenville, New York. But "Home" was the name of many places for Jean:

Yonkers, NY, Greenville, NY., East Greenbush, NY, Clifton Park, NY (Clifton Gardens), North Palm Beach, Fl., Jupiter, Fl., and Port St. Lucie, Fl.

After graduating high school, Jean attended Albany Business College. This started her career in banking. While working as a bank teller, Jean met the absolute love of her life, John Marguin.  It wasn't long before the two were married and found themselves with a full house. They were raising their children in Clifton Gardens, in upstate New York, when they decided to take a family vacation to Disney World. That was all it took; Jean and John knew sunny Florida was the perfect fit for them.

When the children were young and in school, Jean was there too, taking school pictures both in New York and in Florida. Her return to banking was soon to follow. She went on to become Branch Manager at First Federal, Florida National and First Union. She was also Vice President at Palm Beach National Bank and Trust. When it came to civic life, Jean was a long standing member of the Junior Women's Club of the North Palm Beaches. She even had a run as the President from 1977-1978.

"You kids think you are only Italian but you're Irish too!" A proud Kelly, Jean was also a member and officer of the Irish American Club at the Savannah Club.

Jean was known for her laughter, her compassion, her dedication, and impeccable table manners (those who know have the scars to prove it). She was the best listener and best giver of advice. She said to be honest and true, always say please and thank you and never put your elbows on the table.

Jean was a friend to many. In her active life during her retirement years with her husband, she enjoyed friendships and good times in the Savannah Club. Jean loved to travel; she, John, her sister Joan and brother-in-law Larry went to Europe together on two separate occasions - Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, France, and England. Jean and John also saw the world together on several Caribbean Cruises. They always liked to have fun, and for those who knew Jean, also knew she loved and proved her luck as a one arm bandit. She loved to play cards. Solitaire, double solitaire, rummy, bridge with friends… you name it. One of Jean's favorite hobbies was reading. You could catch her at any time laying on her bed, on the couch in the Florida room or living room with a good book (preferably a mystery). Or, she may have had a crossword puzzle in her hands. For Jean, not a day went by without a completed crossword puzzle. The New York Times was her favorite. And if there was a dance floor, you'd find her at any event "cutting a rug" (her favorite being the jitterbug).

Although we, Ron, JoAnne, Robin, and Rick are truly heartbroken at the loss of our mother and will miss her always, it brings us tremendous comfort knowing that Jeanner Beanner and Johnner Bonner are joined together, hand in hand, heart to heart, forevermore.
