Obituary

Jean Ripple, 88, died September 2, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Miami.

Jean was born in Parma, Ohio and graduated from Shaw High School, Cleveland, OH. She was a professional ballet dancer and performed in various operas, operettas, and stage shows.
She moved to Michigan with her beloved husband, Richard (Bud), where they had four children. After retiring from professional dancing, she began teaching ballet.

The family moved to Logansport, IN, and Jean continued teaching and sharing her love of ballet.
Jean was also elected the first female vestry member at Trinity Episcopal Church in Logansport.

Jean and Bud moved to Stuart in 1982 and became members of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Jean was employed at Seacoast National Bank until retirement and then passionately volunteered at Martin Health Systems for 22 years.

Jean was loved and adored by her husband of 67 years, Bud; daughters, Renee Muehlhausen of Argos, IN, Lorraine (John) Zartman of Palm City, FL; Erin (Mark) Arnold of Palm City; grandchildren, Greg Ripple (Lexi), Angie Weese, Erik Muehlhausen (Aimee Zoeller), Henry Muehlhausen (Meredith Reeves), Elizabeth Campbell (Keegan Campbell), Crystal Neels (Jason), AJ Zartman (Claudia), Cory Zartman (Vivan), Genna Zartman (Pete), Madison Arnold (John Doyle) and Macey Arnold; and great grandchildren, Dane Ripple, Juan Espinoza, Dominic Espinoza, Orissa Hudson, Elliot Muehlhausen, Porter Mae Campbell, Everett Campbell, Braden Zartman, Gwyn Neels, Stella Neels, Ava Zartman, Evelee Hernadez, Olivia Zartman and Wyatt Zartman.. Jean was preceded in death by their son, Daniel Ripple.

Jean will be remembered for her strong faith, dedication to family, quick wit, elegance, grace, compassion for others and unique way of connecting with those who were fortunate to meet her.

Memorial Service will be September 16, 2017 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Stuart at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary's General Fund in Stuart, FL or Trinity Episcopal Church General Fund in Logansport, IN.
