Jeanne Marie Hiles (Jeannette) 90 of Port St, Lucie, FL. died peacefully September 2, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart FL. Born in Ocean City, N.J. and residing in South Jersey until moving to Port St. Lucie 31 years ago.

Jeannette was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, sewing, quilting and playing the piano. A past member and Youth Choir Director of the Dorchester United Methodist Church, Dorchester, N.J. A 50-year member of the Shekinah Chapter No. 82, Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey and a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Port St. Lucie, FL. She had been a committee member and deaconess at both churches. And was a 25-year member of a local ladies quilting group.

Surviving include her children Peter Hiles CO/FL, Darlene Hiles FL, Joseph Hiles PA, Diane Hiles, PA., Grandson Matthew Hiles, PA., and Great Grandson Logan Whitall Hiles, PA. Predeceased by her Husband of 72 years Whitall Bethal Hiles, Jr. (2015).

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date allowing for family members to travel, to be held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ. Interment will be at the Head of the River Cemetery, Head of the River, N.J. time also to be determined.
