Obituary

Jeffrey Hoadley went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday August 3, 2021 in Stuart, Florida at the young age of 50.
Jeff was born on October 22, 1970 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

He is survived by his bride Sheila, son Joshua 23, son Caleb 17 and son Samuel 15. Mom Linda, sister Mandy and brother Ben (Sarah), much extended family and he was "favorite" Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Duane.

Jeff has always been a family man. He loved his family deeply and made sure they knew how much daily. He would always answer with "whatever you want mama." He was an amazing listener. He was a man of few words but had a big presence. His family adored him and we will miss his humor, wit and his gentle giant presence. His boys have been striving to be taller than him their whole lives. He held onto his being the tallest and the strongest still. He delighted in the fact they were eye to eye and passing his height soon enough. They are his pride and joy.

Jeff a member of Covenant Fellowship Baptist church for 14 years is loved by many. Jeff a servant by nature served in a quiet behind the scenes kind of way. He had a way of noticing the people who were quiet too and made a point to shake their hand and invite them to his get together's at his house. He loved having people to his home to share a meal, holiday parties with family and to hang out with the guys watching various sports.

Jeff, a coach of more than 15 years was adored by many. He coached and was on the board for Martin County North little league, coached at the YMCA, coached for CCA basketball and baseball and a few other misc places. Wherever his boys were he was there also. One of his favorite years of coaching was Varsity Basketball when Joshua was a senior in High School. Not just because of the success of that year but because of the relationships that were built during that time. Caleb and Sam were water boys, and mom in the stands cheering. Together for every game. An exciting season as they went all the way to Regionals. Underdogs and yet winning. That year he set a precedence that no matter what: "We will praise the Lord if we win and praise the Lord if we lose." He worked hard to develop character and confidence with his players while striving to win.
He loved sports and especially baseball and basketball. He was a great coach but he has always been his families biggest cheerleader. He was a dedicated Cardinals and Michigan fan. "Go Blue"

We are choosing to trust the very heart of Jesus. This was never Gods plan. He never wanted suffering or death for us. But God who loved us so much was willing to send His Son Jesus to die on a cross so we might be FREE from sin and suffering and be with him in heaven. I thank God Jeff chose Jesus as his personal Lord And Savior as a young child. We KNOW Jeff is with Jesus. Thank you Lord for the Legacy of a husband/Father who built his house on THE Rock not on shifting sand. We miss him so much it hurts. Thank God we will see him again in heaven someday. Until then, it's not goodbye but see you later.

We Are thankful for the endless prayers a nd crazy amount of Support that has poured in. Our Family, friends from far and wide and our Covenant church Family is a priceless gift. Our family has felt so much love. Jeff impacted a lot of people over the years. He gave the best bear hugs.

Our family may never be able to answer all the sentiments with a proper thank you or response. Please know We are so grateful for each prayer, gift and thought for our family.

A Celebration of His Life will take place on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 3 pm at the Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church, 2880 SE Aster Lane, Stuart.

Jeff's last text to his bride had this verse:
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not fear; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

We could share a thousand verses but I'll stick to:
Isaiah 40:31
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not die but have eternal life."

We are all Spending eternity somewhere.
Our prayer is you also choose to be with Jesus.
